Short version: this is a free calculator over public card terms. It is not advice, the numbers can go out of date the moment an issuer changes something, and the decision is yours.

We do not know your income, credit profile, balances or interest rate. If you carry a balance, interest almost certainly costs you more than any rewards rate here can earn — that math beats every recommendation on this site.

About the numbers

Card facts are researched from issuers' published terms and each carries the date we verified it. Issuers change rates, caps, fees, credits and bonus categories whenever they like, often without notice and sometimes retroactively for existing cardholders. A verification date tells you when we last looked — it is not a promise about today. Point and mile valuations are estimates of what a currency is typically worth; what you actually get depends on how you redeem. Rankings are generated from this data by a formula, and a formula cannot see your situation.

Confirm the terms on the issuer's own page before you apply for or rely on any card. Where we are wrong, the issuer's terms govern, not ours.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss — including lost rewards, fees, interest, or a credit decision — arising from your use of the site or reliance on its numbers. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where that is so, this section applies as far as the law allows.

Your data and your use

Your wallet lives in your browser; household sync is a convenience, not a backup service, and we may impose size and rate limits or remove data that is abusive or unlawful. We cannot recover state you delete. Please do not scrape, overload or resell the service, or use it to break any law. See Privacy for what is stored.

Links to issuer sites are provided for verification; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content or terms. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of UseThis at any time, and we may update these terms — the date at the top of this page tells you when we last did. Card names and marks belong to their owners; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by any issuer (see how we're paid).
